أدوات الشرط— Conditional Sentences

إِنْ ("if") and مَنْ ("whoever") are jazm-inducing conditional particles: they put both verbs in jazm — the فعل الشرط right after the particle, and the جواب الشرط that states the result. إِنْ تَجْتَهِدْ تَنْجَحْ ("If you strive, you will succeed"), مَنْ يَعْمَلْ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ ("Whoever does good will see it"). The jazm marker varies: سكون for a sound singular verb, dropping the weak letter for a defective one, or dropping the نون for one of الأفعال الخمسة.
