لا النافية للجنس— Categorical Negation

لا النافية للجنس denies an entire category at once — لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ("there is no doubt in it, whatsoever"), لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ, لَا طَالِبَ فِي الْفَصْلِ. Its noun is مبني على الفتح with no تنوين. This sets it apart from ordinary لا النافية (which leaves the noun fully inflected and may repeat) and لا الناهية (which governs a present-tense verb and puts it in jazm).
